As of October 2009, “Out of Your Shell” was chosen as a finalist for the KIDSFIRST! Animation film festival in the category of student shorts

This is a Christmas gift for my friend. It’s an interpretation of one of her characters with her real life horse, Luke. Although I’ve sketched horses before, I needed to use a lot of reference photos for this picture. Gotta keep working on animals!
