I finally found the time to finish my first real Flash animation! This is Cassie, from the book series “Animorphs” by K.A. Applegate - LOVED this series when I was younger!!! Next Flash animation I do will definatly be using symbols; this one was tradiationally animated using “copy/paste” for the holds.

I also need to learn to make control buttons (such as play and stop) If you want to watch it again, you’ll have to refresh for now. Sorry - I’ll get right on that.

As I was doodling Cassie the other day, she spoke out of one drawing, demanding to know where her friends were. So, by golly I had to draw them!

This is the rest of the Animorphs gang from the book series ANIMORPHS by K.A. Applegate. These are my own interpretations of them.

I am working on two more drawings of some of these characters, but I want to ink them in Flash for more Flash practice. So STAY TUNED! ^_^

Although the image is not that impressive - this is my first actual DRAWING done in Flash!! I thought I would practice drawing the character I plan to animate in the program before tackling animation… I will be doing more to mess a bit more with her style, and create a better design for the crow (to be her prop in the animation) Also I need to get used to the vector tools! It will take some work, but as someone online said about Flash - “you sure need patience…”
