My latest animation! Although I did it in Flash, I still did not utilize Flash symbols or the library, which are things I really need to learn. But for now, I was focusing on matching a pre-designed character and making my animations more LOOSE.

The character is Danny from the animated film: “Cat’s Don’t Dance.” It is funny I should pick that movie, since in a way Danny’s struggle to achieve fame is how I feel trying to break into the industry!

I must not give up, like Danny!!!

Audio is from David Tennant as Doctor Who - he has such great crazy lines!

I finally found the time to finish my first real Flash animation! This is Cassie, from the book series “Animorphs” by K.A. Applegate - LOVED this series when I was younger!!! Next Flash animation I do will definatly be using symbols; this one was tradiationally animated using “copy/paste” for the holds.

I also need to learn to make control buttons (such as play and stop) If you want to watch it again, you’ll have to refresh for now. Sorry - I’ll get right on that.

Although the image is not that impressive - this is my first actual DRAWING done in Flash!! I thought I would practice drawing the character I plan to animate in the program before tackling animation… I will be doing more to mess a bit more with her style, and create a better design for the crow (to be her prop in the animation) Also I need to get used to the vector tools! It will take some work, but as someone online said about Flash - “you sure need patience…”
